Packing Materials Available for your Use
Almost all moving companies offer free blankets for wrapping and protecting wooden furniture and non-breakables. The blankets are wrapped around the items, then taped from the outside to that the item will be hermetically sealed.
Movers can offer you various sizes and types of boxes. There are book boxes, for packing books and files, dish boxes, for packing dishes, glasses and kitchenware, mattress boxes for packing mattresses, electronic and television boxes and wardrobe boxes for packing coats, jackets and dresses.
Bubble wrap is used to cover glass items and electronic equipment before they are placed in their boxes. White paper is used to cover glasses, plates and fragile kitchenware. Cardboard crates are created by the movers for odd-sized breakable items.
Charges for Packing
Packing charges can be determined in advance when an on-sight estimator arrives to your house, or calculated on the moving day according to actual usage. It is recommended to decide in advance whether you would like to do some or all of the packing by yourself. If you need full packing services, it is recommended to inform the mover in advance.
