Information about the Moving Process
Obviously, you should begin with the type of move you plan to do, the pickup and destination points and the date of your move.
It is our recommendation to decide in advance whether you would like the movers to pack for you or do the packing by yourself, and provide that information to your relocation consultant.
If you cannot receive the delivery at the destination point right away, make sure to mention it to the mover and check about storage options. Alpha Moving and Storage provides both long and short term storage options, from overnight to monthly invoiced storage plans.
Information about your pickup and Delivery Points
Make sure you provide your mover all the relevant information about both pickup and delivery points. If you have flights of stairs, difficult access, parking issues, make sure you notify your relocation service provider about them.
If you live in an apartment complex or a gated community, check with your building or complex management about the relevant moving procedures and provide them to your relocation service provider in advance.
