We are thrilled to announce that Alpha Moving & Storage has partnered with Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization that mobilizes the relocation industry to fight hunger and reduce food waste.
Alpha Moving & Storage will be joining Move For Hunger’s network of relocation companies that have delivered over six million meals and seven million pounds of food throughout the country!
About the Alpha Moving & Storage and Move For Hunger Collaboration
With over one million people in New Jersey suffering from food insecurity and one in every six children in America is going to bed hungry each and every night, Alpha Moving and Storage president and owner, Daniel Kupershtein felt that the company had to do something to help.
Every time we service a move, we see people throwing away a lot of stuff. Much of the stuff people get rid of is food. It’s always a shame to see good food that can help families in need simply thrown away or left behind. Now, thanks to the collaboration between Alpha Moving and Storage and Move For Hunger, this food will no longer be wasted.
The Alpha Moving and Storage team will be collecting food items from customers and directly deliver them to the local Move For Hunger local community food bank. This service is absolutely free to all Alpha Moving and Storage customers.
Every Move is an Opportunity to Donate
Now, every move gives you an opportunity to donate and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. All you need to do is donate canned food and non-perishables on your moving date.
We at Alpha Moving and Storage are always looking for new ways to be better involved with the local community. We are proud and honored by this opportunity to work with Move For Hunger and help those in need in our local community and across the nation.
